He is the most popular and visilbe former MLB player around. He holds press conferences and noone shows up (because noone cares), but then they play it on Sportscenter for the world to see. Losers of awfull MMA fights don't get press coverage - unless your Jose Canseco. His book is not that good of a read (and agian who really cares) - excpet that his book got so much press it did really well. He had a press conference to respond to Manny's recent steriod issues - noone showed - but then I saw it on PTI, during the main segment. He has fallen so far from his days of leauge MVP that Tonya Harding is sending the guy symapthy cards.
